This is a good thread. Hey Method, you need to do the "Method Spur" Try it without any Weckl licks. That's tough! Anyway, you seem to be getting pounded here. But then again, since people like Peter Erskine post here, you shouldn't post anything that isn't 100%

Pete, thanks for the feedback.
I'm still on single kick...I'm leaning towards the Eliminators (I can't wait to bust out the db on Angel of Death [img]wink.gif[/img] ). I have no plans to record the rest of the tune atm. I am more familiar with Island Magic and Garden Wall. However, I would love to hear your interpretation, particularly with your expertise in latin music!
Julian, I listened to it cold last night, the execution is loose in many sections. That's usually the pattern, you get it up to speed, it's loose, then you tighten it up. If you're having fun, you get better every day. [img]wink.gif[/img]

MethodAir,
If you get the Eliminators, make
sure you try both the strap and
the chain. You want to be comfort-
able, with your choice.
You definetly will want the purple
cam. Don't go home without it. It
does NOT come with the pedal yet.
Remember the Power-Shifter settings
and be sure to try it, set all the
way in, towards the kick-drum.
I know you were just experimenting
with this tune. I'm sure you could
kick the sh-- out of it.

Like Virgil, I prefer the straps
because I think them smoother. I
kick them hard and have found the
straps to be stronger than any I
have tried in the past but please,
be the judge, yourself, on that.
Again, for the money, they are
the best, most versatile pedal,
on the market, with the cam de-
signs, especially including the
purple and yellow.
I use the Eliminators every now
and then, playing Axis- A Long-
boards, most regularly.
I hope to have video in the near
future, showing both pedals in
in action, with some routines
that might be helpful.
